What is a Perfect Bride Like
The definition of an ideal bride, or perhaps even a groom has changed over the years and lamentably so, they are not in the least like the characters we came across in the fairy tales as kids and those cheesy Mills and Boons novels we read as starry eyed teenagers.
Handsome Princes who never have to work to earn their living and Princesses who are gorgeously beautiful, lovely and delicate don’t have to so much as make their own beds! (ok, Cinderella may be an exception to this but she also had her share of lavishness)! Similar are the stories in MB romantic love novels where the tall-dark-handsome-multi-billionaire guy falls for the exceptionally beautiful girl next door and they live happily ever after, with some trials and tribulations in their courtship. Wish life were also similar to one of these settings!
But this is also right that every man desires his bride or more aptly the would-be-wife to be home when he returns, manage his home, take care of children, be educated, loyal, dedicated and sweet, make him proud through her social skills, take care of his children, support his mentally and emotionally (now even financially).
