Why opposites make a great couple
Bollywood style wisdom would have you believe that opposites attract. In fact, there have been many such films on the subject matter, from Raja Hindustani (Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor) in the 1990s to Zindagi na Milegi dobara (Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif). But is real life the same as reel life?
Opposites do not get along well as friends…. do they?
Most people prefer to deal with people who have a similar mindset, value system and interests, at least when it comes to working with colleagues at work or friends. After all, if two people have similar interests and perspectives, the chances are that they will be very comfortable with each other and build a good rapport together. In fact, most people show a reluctance to venture out of their comfort zones and are not really motivated when it comes to dealing with opposite personality types.
