When you think of a beach wedding, the immediate picture which springs up is warm sand, a good salty breeze in the air, and a barbeque on the beach. But you can change the basic beach theme to suit your personal requirements. Here are a few tips on how to do just that.
Pirate wedding themes
Almost everyone has seen the movie PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN. You can set your wedding on the same theme and ask your guests to come dresses as pirates and wenches. The food can be simple like a barbeque on the beach with ‘slaves’ who serve the food to the pirates. You can adjust the theme with fake gold chests sprinkled over the venue, nautical maps on the walls of the wedding tent, nets, palms trees and fake parrots.
A sandcastle wedding
Sand themes are great for weddings. You can get custom sandcastle wedding invites from online websites and then set the dress code for your wedding. Use a sandcastle centerpiece. If you can’t get an authentic sandcastle, just use an ordinary castle and then roll it in glue and sand to get the same effect.
